Christy Collections started as a desire to have a candle exactly the way I wanted it:  fantastic scents that would fill a room, modern and simple design that would look great anywhere, and I wanted the cleanest possible result when it was burned.  

I had always purchased and enjoyed my favorite (and expensive) traditional paraffin wax candles, but I wondered if I could make a better candle.  I started making my own paraffin-based candles, but I really wanted to eventually develop a natural wax candle.  In early 2000, I started to research and test soy wax.  I wanted something that I felt good about burning in my home, around family, friends, and our pets.  After many trials and testing of natural waxes, wicks, and scents I finally had a collection of my favorite custom-blended scents in clean soy wax with a pure cotton wick that I made for personal use.  These eventually developed their own following and "Christy Collections" slowly started.  We are now proud to have our products enjoyed by boutiques, restaurants, celebrities, professional athletes, and many loyal customers.

Although some scents come and go, a scent will not make our collection unless it has been accepted by our personal testers, usually loyal customers and family.
